What is SASSETA?
SASSETA is one of South Africa’s 21 Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) established under the Skills Development Act.
Its purpose is to improve workforce skills across the safety and security sector through learnerships, internships, skills programmes, bursaries, workplace learning initiatives, and employer support.
SASSETA works closely with government institutions, private security organisations, educational institutions, accredited training providers, and industry stakeholders to help build a safer and more professional South Africa.
